WEEK 1

Questions:

 

• How will your group communicate?

The group will use Google Drive for document organization and distribution. The group will also be using Discord as our main form of communication. 

 

• Where, when, and how frequently will you meet?

Our group will convene on the first floor of Broun, Senior Design Lab (Broun 307), and Zoom, Sundays at 2 pm weekly. 

 

• What is your management structure?  Each team should have at least a designated team manager. It would be good to have an assistant manager and a designated editor/document coordinator as well.

• How will you manage your budget?  It is essential to start your project with a clearly stated dollar amount. It might take some work to get that number, but it needs to be written down and known by everyone on the team. You should have a fairly detailed budget as part of your proposal's first draft.

We have discussed that we will be splitting all costs and that all purchases will be discussed upon as a group. Our preliminary budget has been set to $500, $100 from each team member. 

 

• How will you manage your timeline?  One common tool for this is a Gantt Chart. You can create one for your project using free tools found online. You should have a fairly detailed timeline as part of your proposal's first draft.

We will be utilizing a Gantt Chart software provided by a website called TeamGantt. All members have access and revision capabilities but most changes will be made by the Technical Lead.
